Supergroup ORACLES Unveils Cover Art for Debut Album "Miserychorde"

One day a while back, some members of Aborted and the vocalist of DIMLIGHT (and formerly, Purify out of France) came together and decided to make some quality f*ckin' metal.

Thus began the newest international supergroup, Oracles.

Formed in 2014, they have been endeavoring to redefine extreme metal for two years. Their self-recorded debut album, Miserychorde, will be released under Deadlight Entertainment soon. If their teaser track, "Scorn" is any indication, all that time and hard work is about to pay off - for them and for us!

According to their Facebook page, the EP was mixed by the almighty genius known as Jacob Hansen (who has worked with Epica in the past) and will feature guest spots by Per Nilsson of Scar Symmetry and Ryan Knight of The Black Dahlia Murder.

Vocalist Sanna Salou, photo from FacebookOracles is comprised of three members of Aborted; Sven de Caluwe, Ken Bedene, and Mendel Bij de Leij, along with talented (and locally-grown) guitarist Steve Miller formerly of System Divide and Andrei Aframov formerly of Onoma.

The art comes courtesy of brutal Brit Colin Marks of Rain Song Design, a favorite of many in the industry.

We're going to have to wait a bit before its release, with the date set at July 1. Stream the first and only track released in advance to satiate your curiosity and keep it here for updates.

You can also find them on Facebook and be among the first to hear the news straight from the horses' mouth!
