Belphegor Releases Cover Art For "Conjuring The Dead"

BELPHEGOR - Conjuring the Dead

Diabolical black/death metallers Belphegor released the album art for the forthcoming release "Conjuring the Dead", and it's pretty badass.

The art was created by Greek artist Seth Siro Anton, who also painted the cover of Pestapokalypse IV in 2006.

The band had a few things to say about the album. Helmuth comments: "Magick!! The spectacular cover, the offensive lyrical content, the Death Musick. BELPHEGOR´s nine new sound collages are a new dimension of intensity and dynamics." Seth adds: "Once you can customize the basic principles of Renaissance painting and deriving energy/ data from chaotic reservoir of unconscious, get BELPHEGOR´s "CONJURING THE DEAD" cover art."

Conjuring the Dead was recorded at Mana Studios in Florida under the direction of Eric Rutan. Three and a half years have past since the highly praised album Blood Magick Necromance was released. Belphegor are back to conquer - possessed, on fire and stronger than ever!"

The tenth studio album of one of the most bizarre and authentic bands in the world of metal will be unleashed on August 8th [EU/ North America] and August 11th [UK/ FR] via Nuclear Blast.
