Acrassicauda Turns To Kickstarter To Help Fund New Album

#KickstartAcrassicuadaAcrassicauda was first featured in a documentary about metal in the Middle East that focused on how metal was persecuted by lawmakers and kept alive by the underground scene despite the obstacles they encountered.

They even came here a couple of years ago at the Tally Ho theatre in Leesburg, VA and embarked on a small US tour.

Well, all their hard work has paid off in the form of tons of fans worldwide. Now that they've shown they have the chops, they've taken to Kickstarter to get some monetary aid towards their very first full length album, which will be a "turning point" for the band.

What I love about these guys the most is that they're humble, despite having one of the most metal pasts out of any other band in the genre (well, besides Sir Lee, of course) surviving war and dictatorship, the collapse of Saddam Hussein's regime, and constant harrassment (even some death threats) by people of their communities. They took all that trauma and converted it into some of the most killer metal ever instead of giving up and saying that playing wasn't worth the risk.

They're fuckin' metal. Inside and out.

That's why they deserve a break and your pledge towards making this full-length. They've overcome enough hurdles to be allowed to ask for (and receive) some help on this one. So if you can, help these guys out. It'll be an investment that pays off.
