Deftones Release A Song From Previously Shelved Album, Eros

The song is entitled Smile, and it was released on the anniversary of their then-bassist Chi Cheng suffering a terrible car accident. Eros was Cheng's final project with Chino, and was left unfinished after the tragic wreck. The remaining members, understandably, set it aside for the moment, and ever since fans have been begging for the release of the few finished tracks.

Well, they finally gave it to us. Here it is, linked in this tweet from Chino fondly remembering his fallen bandmate. Spoiler alert: it's awesome...
